Services, Fees & Insurance
Welcome to Heart of Mind Psychology Inc. We are committed to providing transparent information regarding our clinical services, session rates, and insurance coverage so you can make informed decisions about your mental health care.
Counselling Services
I provide specialized, 100% virtual psychological therapy exclusively for adults. All sessions are conducted securely online, allowing you to access high-quality care from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
Our clinic utilizes a secure, encrypted telehealth and clinical records platform that is fully compliant with Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA) and federal privacy laws (PIPEDA) to ensure your personal health information is strictly protected at all times.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. I utilize a trauma-informed, integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies to help you process difficult experiences, build resilience, and move toward a meaningful life.
My core clinical modalities include:
Attachment-Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR): Designed to help heal relational trauma and process deeply rooted emotional pain by integrating traditional EMDR with an attachment-based framework.*
Somatic Experiencing (SE): A body-oriented therapeutic model that helps release traumatic shock and restore regulation to the nervous system.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): A structured approach to identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to anxiety and depression.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): A mindfulness-based therapy that helps you detach from difficult thoughts and take committed action aligned with your core values.
*Extended 100-minute EMDR processing sessions are available for established clients when clinically appropriate.
Please note: Due to provincial regulatory guidelines, I am licensed to provide psychological services to individuals who are physically located within Alberta at the time of their scheduled appointment.

How it works: If you would like us to submit claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf, simply complete the extended health benefits section within your secure Jane App intake forms prior to your first session.

Please check with your insurance provider prior to your first session to confirm your specific coverage limits, reset dates, and whether a physician's referral is required by your plan.
